In Memory of Our Co-Founder, Ann Marland

Sisters Country lost an advocate, a visionary, a neighbor and friend, and a hard-working volunteer in the community. STARS co-founder, Ann Marland, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 30th. Ann, or Annie as we all knew her, smiled often, laughed deeply, and cared about the needs of the community. She put her thoughts into addressing gaps in community services and put her car on the road for years, driving Sisters Country residents to their non-emergency medical appointments. She did her share of “Keeping Sisters healthy, one ride at a time.” Please join her family and friends at her celebration of life.
