Community Partners Help Spread the Word About Our Service

All of our community partners, including The Council on Aging, are working hard to do their part to make Sisters Country livable for all. Coordinating our efforts, knowing about the services each provides, and supporting each other’s efforts is key to volunteer agencies’ success.

Meet Myrna, a volunteer at the Council on Aging. She was excited to hear of our success in being on track to complete 800 round trip rides to non-emergency appointments in 2025, for passengers in Sisters Country. All those rides, at no cost to our passengers, are quite a success, and one that we at STARS are proud of!

We will get back to you soon, and before you know it, we will have you on the road! It’s easy to apply and we will train you to drive with us. STARS volunteers choose to work as much or as little as they want. You always make your own schedule. Going out of town for a getaway? No problem, you just wouldn’t take any rides for the time you are gone. STARS reimburses you for mileage.
